“Tous Léger! Tickets now on sale for the new exhibition at the Musée du Luxembourg!

February 3, 2025

Vibrant colors, moving forms, hijacked everyday objects... Léger and the Nouveaux Réalismes meet at the Musée du Luxembourg from March 19. Book your tickets now!

Léger and Nouveau Réalisme: a dialogue across the ages

As early as the 1920s, Fernand Léger spoke of “Nouveau Réalisme” as an approach to the world: no longer copying reality, but capturing its energy, matter and rhythms. Forty years later, Pierre Restany, art critic and Léger admirer, brought together artists such as Arman, Yves Klein, Niki de Saint Phalle and Raymond Hains under this name, each exploring in their own way an art rooted in reality.

The Musée du Luxembourg exhibition highlights these correspondences through a thematic tour in which the works interact and reveal the unsuspected beauty of everyday life, thanks to an unprecedented partnership between two major collections in the Côte d'Azur region.

To be discovered from March 19 to July 20, 2025 at the Musée du Luxembourg!
