The first exhibition in the series dedicated to women artists, chosen by the Rmn Grand Palais for the Musée du Luxembourg, was the exhibition Women Painters, 1780-1830. The Birth of a Battle, initially planned for autumn 2020, which opened to the public on 19 May due to the public health crisis. Its closing day was able to be postponed to 25 July in agreement with the departments of the French Senate and thanks to the understanding and generous nature of all lenders.
