DURING THE CLOSURE PERIOD... As works began on the Grand Palais, the Rmn Grand Palais invited the public to learn more about the history and architecture of the monument through an immersive video tour, accompanied live by tour guides. Le Grand Palais Révelé (The Grand Palais Revealed) took virtual visitors on a behind-the-scenes tour of the building, exploring over a century of fairs and shows, equestrian competitions and exhibitions, immersed in the spectacular, light-filled atmosphere of the Nave.

For the European Night of Museums on 3 July, a digital Escape Game was also available to the public free of charge. 550 people took part in Les Fantômes de Malraux ( The Ghosts of Malraux ), attempting to solve the puzzles as they wandered all around the Grand Palais.

Finally, for Nuit Blanche on 2 October, night owls were able to view Nayel Zeaiter's immense fresco, newly installed on the Grand Palais site hoarding. Each person was invited to bring a torch so as not to miss a single detail of the monument s history.
