A partnership with Trax Magazine also produced a playlist of music from the Arab, Iranian, Asian and African worlds, reflecting the diversity of Islamic arts, based on a curation by Acid Arab and electronic music producer Paloma Colombe, who has 40,000 impressions on social media. Three artists (Paloma Colombe, Glitter and Deena Adbelwahed) also visited the exhibitions in Saint-Denis, Rouen and Rennes and gave their impressions on Trax's Instagram account for the Take Over videos.
THE RATP INVITES... VIVIAN MAIER To pay tribute to the work of Vivian Maier, which is strongly influenced by the urban space, 47 photos by the artists were displayed in giant format in the city centre, at 7 Paris stations in the RATP network (La Chapelle, Saint-Denis Porte de Paris, Madeleine, Pyramides, Gare de Lyon, Hôtel de Ville and Luxembourg). From 6 October 2021 to 23 February 2022, metro users could discover a few elements of the exhibition presented at the Musée du Luxembourg, with street scenes and self-portraits.
ARTISTS AND DESIGNERS IN THE SPOTLIGHT FOR PARIS DESIGN WEEK The tenth edition of Paris Design Week took place in autumn with the theme Sustainable development, happy future . The Rmn Grand Palais chose the associate it with the Centre Pompidou Design Store and Book Store. Six artists and designers were showcased at the design store, with items that were made in France, biosourced or upcycled, while the bookstore introduced visitors to reference works in the field of design, as well as new publications on the aesthetics and functionality of objects. This design event welcomed over 200 people to its inauguration.
PUBLIC RELATIONS Paris, Les Eyzies-de-Tayac, Fontainebleau, Écouen, Compiègne... The communications department takes part in all the projects carried out by the establishment throughout the country and contributes to their influence through public relations. In 2021, despite the pandemic, it helped to welcome more than 6,000 people and public figures at inaugurations and events organised at the Grand Palais Éphémère, the Musée du Luxembourg, the Grande Halle de La Villette and the Palais des Beaux-Arts de Lille.
