The Rmn Grand Palais supports all (SCN) national museums in managing visitor numbers, welcoming audiences and implementing ticketing systems.
CONTINUED SUPPORT DESPITE THE UNCERTAINTIES OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS The second year of the public health crisis affected all museums, including SCN national museums, which remained closed until 19 May. When the museums reopened, the Rmn Grand Palais resumed and in some cases amplified all the actions already put in place in the summer of 2020 to meet the requirements and protective measure in force (installation of Plexiglas at the cash desks, directional and social distancing signage, temporary cessation of the distribution of audioguides and visitor tools, etc.), even closing the shop at the Musée National de la Préhistoire in Les Eyzies-de-Tayac and removing the sales counter at the Musée Magnin in Dijon. Directly accessible from the website of each museum, an online reservation tool was set up to ensure that the limits on visitor numbers and their movement within the museum spaces and shops were kept to. The gradual improvement in health conditions allowed these limits to be lifted and the audioguides and visitor tools to once again be made available. Throughout the year, and since the start of the pandemic, employees were supported, namely with the provision of personal protective equipment.
