CLOSED FOR WORKS MARGUERITE BORNHAUSER Photographer and visual artist Marguerite Bornhauser lives and works in Paris. She graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie d Arles in 2015, and exhibited at the Maison Européenne de la Photographie in Paris in 2019. She explores the different areas of the Grand Palais, observing the monument through a resolutely contemporary perspective. Dominated by colour, light and a quest for detail, her work reveals the invisible and finds glory in the trivial, from the immense electrical cables that punctuate the site to the items that have turned up entirely by chance. She even collects some of these nuts and bolts, padlocks, notices and tickets from another time as part of her artistic experiments.
