waste into resources. In 2022, after a year of sorting this waste at source, an initial feedback report will be produced in order to evaluate the benefits of sorting in terms of resources saved.
A commitment to diversity and equality The establishment continued its actions to promote equality in the workplace. As a result, for the second year running the Rmn Grand Palais obtained a score of 99/100 in the Gender Equality in the Workplace Index (which aims to measure pay equity between men and women), thanks to all the actions carried out internally, notably those following on the five gender equality agreements signed. Based on this score and the actions also taken in the field of diversity, the Rmn Grand Palais is now well positioned to obtain a Diversity label in addition to its Gender Equality label.
Involving employees The Rmn Grand Palais continued to work on training its employees and raising their awareness on sustainable development. In 2021, employees were offered training in order to understand, decipher and take an active role in implementing a CSR approach in the events sector. This aimed to introduce them to the ISO 20121 standard and team them how to oversee a CSR approach and implement a responsible management system.
Protecting health and safety at work The Rmn Grand Palais is particularly attentive to the health and safety of its employees at work and in 2021 implemented health, safety, environment (HSE) and sustainable development regulatory monitoring in order to keep up with and implement its obligations. The establishment continued to work to protect its employees in the context of a public health crisis with a regular update of the COVID-19 prevention policy and the provision of relevant documents featuring applicable instructions and prevention measures. A link was maintained with employees at all sites
through the organisation of regular meetings with COVID-19 representatives. In this public health context, the Rmn Grand Palais chose to maintain the comfort of its employees by rolling out carbon dioxide (CO2) measurements at most of its sites, targeting mainly windowless, cramped or poorly ventilated premises.
